Orient Enterprises Limited is a macadamia nut processor and exporter based in Mombasa, Kenya. Our processing facility is located in Juja, Kiambu, in the heart of Kenya’s Macadamia nut growing region.
We process and ship high-quality macadamia nuts to food manufacturers, other nut processors and resellers around the world.
We process macadamia nuts from quality independent macadamia nut growers throughout the region. Our relationships with these growers help sustain these local farm communities and supply 100% of our total raw macadamia nuts.
OEL is an equal opportunity employer. Our staff are over 80% women, mostly from around the area in which we operate. We are proud to employ and empower over 250 Kenyans in our Juja factory.
Our Impact
Orient Enterprises Limited was founded in the year 2018 and began processing potatoes, ground nuts, cashew nuts and macadamia nuts for private label packing customers as well as having our own snack brands on retail shelfs regionally.
In the year 2020, we moved all our operations to focus on the bulk processing and shipping of macadamia nuts and macadamia oil to the international market.

Built in 2020, OEL’s state-of-the-art, 15,000 square-feet processing facility is capable of processing approximately 2,500 pounds of kernels each day. We follow rigorous processing standards to achieve the highest quality macadamia kernels for our customers
